Chris subsequently completed Graduate Gemologist Certification in both diamonds and colored stones at the Gemological Institute of America.  Thereafter, she studied and worked abroad, initially enrolled in an integrated study/work Goldsmithing program at Sir John Cass College of Art in London, followed by 2 years of study/work at Fachhochschule für Gestaltung (School of Design) in Pforzheim, Germany, studying under her mentor, Professor Klaus Ulrich.  After 3 years of studying/working abroad in London and Germany Chris returned to the USA and founded her company the Chris Correia Collection in New York City incorporating the international concepts she curated abroad.

Since inception Chris Correia’s jewelry has sold in many upscale department stores such as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks nationwide as well as contemporary jewelry galleries, independent jewelry and boutique stores internationally. Her distinctive, recognizable European styling is contemporary yet classic with a timeless elegance and her work incorporates platinum, gold, diamonds and gemstones in the upscale Chris Correia Collections.
